About the Amazon SDE Intern 2027 role

The Amazon SDE Intern 2027 program, run by Amazon University Talent Acquisition, is a full-time, 6-month (24–26 week) Software Development Engineer internship for students graduating in 2027. Requirements & eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, graduating in 2027
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals – OOP design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis
• Proficiency in a programming language such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl
• Preferred: prior technical internship(s), experience with distributed/multi-tier systems and relational databases, and exposure to optimization mathematics
• Must be available full-time for the entire 6-month internship, with no conflicting academic commitments
