About the role
Siemens Member Technical Staff 2026 is an early-career R&D opening on the Siemens PowerPro core team inside Siemens EDA, a global leader in Electronic Design Automation software. As a Member Technical Staff, you will help develop the software engines that power RTL and gate-level power estimation, working on core C++ applications, algorithm design, and large-scale simulation data processing.
This is a hybrid, full-time, permanent role explicitly positioned for freshers and early-career engineers who want to build deep technical expertise in chip and system design software.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize core C++ applications for RTL and gate-level power analysis.
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of new features in the power estimation product line.
- Design efficient algorithms to process large simulation waveforms, switching activity data, and netlists.
- Explore and integrate AI/ML techniques to improve power estimation model performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.
Eligibility criteria
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong foundational knowledge of C++, STL, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Basic understanding of digital design concepts using Verilog or VHDL.
- 0+ years of experience — freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Knowledge of Tcl, Python, Perl, or Awk scripting is a plus.
Selection process
Siemens Member Technical Staff 2026 candidates are typically evaluated through a technical interview covering C++, data structures, and digital design fundamentals, followed by a managerial and HR discussion. Selected candidates generally receive an offer within 2–3 weeks of the final interview.
