Key responsibilities

• Security role: assist with secure design and code reviews, threat modeling and auditing AI agents / LLM pipelines.
• Identify AI-specific risks (prompt injection, data poisoning) and build security automation with Python in CI/CD.
• Triage and remediate vulnerabilities and support repeatable application-security patterns.
• Index internship: build Python tools and dashboards (Streamlit / Dask) for index automation.
• Support exploratory research, validate structured data and document workflows with the global index team.

S&P Global Hiring 2026 – eligibility & requirements

To be eligible for the S&P Global Hiring 2026 roles, candidates should meet:

• Security role: a Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Information Security and about one year of security or software experience.
• Proficiency in Python; foundational AI / LLM awareness and AppSec basics (OWASP Top 10); TCP/IP, TLS and PKI fundamentals.
• Index internship: pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, CS, Maths, Data Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and basic data analysis; familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and interest in financial markets.

Selection process
