About the role
Pearson Apprentice Quality Assurance 2026 is a structured 12-month apprenticeship inside Pearson India’s Vue Test Publishing division, the team that builds and delivers computer-based examinations used by certification bodies worldwide. Apprentices perform end-to-end quality checks on exam content and functionality using Pearson’s proprietary QA tools, learning from experienced test engineers while contributing to real deliverables from day one.
This is one of the more accessible entry points into IT quality assurance for freshers, since the programme is explicitly designed around structured mentorship rather than prior QA experience.
Key responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end quality assurance checks on computer-based examinations using Pearson’s proprietary tools.
- Execute test plans and validate exam content using internal applications, XML/HTML-based tools, Excel, and reporting systems.
- Test exam functionality, navigation, scoring, and user experience against client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate quality concerns and document defects.
- Prioritise assigned QA activities to meet project deadlines with high accuracy.
Eligibility criteria
- Must have completed a bachelor’s degree (any stream).
- Recent graduates or candidates with less than 1 year of work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must be legally eligible to work in India.
Selection process
Pearson Apprentice Quality Assurance 2026 candidates typically go through an online application screening, followed by a technical/aptitude assessment and a interview round covering analytical thinking and communication skills. Shortlisted apprentices usually receive an offer within 2–4 weeks of the final round, with onboarding scheduled around the 12-month apprenticeship start date.
