Role Overview – Associate Software Engineer
In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams ranging from PON, Ethernet switching, routing software and subscriber management for Triple Play services to performance monitoring and network management. You will build, integrate, unit-test and support software modules within a large-scale, high-performance and low-latency system.
Key Responsibilities
- SDLC: Participate in technical discussions across all phases of the SDLC – review requirements, produce design documents, peer reviews and test plans.
- Development: Design, develop and maintain Network Systems Software and Security software for high-performance, low-latency environments.
- Protocols: Implement networking protocols (L2, L3, MPLS, NAT, QoS, tunnelling – VPN, IPSec, GRE) and control-plane features.
- Multithreading: Program in a multi-thread / multi-process environment.
- Support: Participate in and support fixing issues arising from customer sites.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation like Design Spec, FS, UT and FT.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or a related branch.
- Batch Year: 2024, 2025 and 2026 graduates can apply.
- Programming: Familiar with C / C++ and a scripting language like Python; basic programming concepts, data structures and OOP.
